“Best place for Campers/Overlanders (NO TENTS) in Bacalar!! The property is right on the Lagoon, super chill vibe, hammocks, outdoor kitchen, hot shower, etc. If you are looking for a great spot to rest and relax, this is it! They also have a couple small rooms and a few permanent campers/vans that you can rent as well. Olga is an AMAZING host, super friendly and very helpful with local recommendations and suggestions to make your experience in Bacalar the best! Highly recommend El Jardine de Venus for anyone traveling to see the Lagoon of 7 Colors.”

“The camping area per se is more of a 3.5 stars but the location right on the shore of beautiful Laguna Bacalar earns it the whole 5 rating. The manager (owner?) Olga is super nice and easy going. The whole place has a "youth hostel" vibe. Common kitchen area with refrigerators shared by all guests, etc. Restroom is very well maintained. Everyone else but us were there for many weeks if not months; with their little campers (it's a Westfalia world). Our 25 foot RV just fit in. I can barely see anything bigger fitting, so make sure to check before hand. The area where we camp (park) could use a bit update maintenance.”
